Price List for Spring 2008

Our latest Prices Update is now available for download. The Excel file consists of three sheets: Contents has links to take you directly to product categories in the second sheet Products & Prices, allowing you to browse the items and copy and paste any products you wish to order. The DSA VAT column in the Products & Prices sheet shows the full price a DSA customer will pay for the product. You can return to the Contents sheet whenever you want by clicking on the link at the top of this second sheet. The third sheet has our Contact Info. All prices and specifications are correct at time of posting (errors and omissions excepted).

Prices on our quoting system are updated on a regular basis.

Latest models and pricing from Toshiba

The ITS A370 and W370 entry level notebooks are replaced by the Toshiba Satellite A120 SE which features 1.86 GHz Core Solo Processor, 512 MB RAM, 60 GB Hard Disk and Intel 945 Graphics. The price is £499 + VAT

The Current Toshiba Satellite A120 has been upgraded to the A120-146 and now has an Intel Core2 Duo processor as standard. The price remains the same at £649+VAT

The Toshiba Satellite Pro P100 has been updated and features a 2.16 GHz Core 2 Duo Processor (was 1.83 GHz), 2GB RAM (was 1GB RAM), 200GB Hard Disk (was 100GB) and 512MB Graphics (was 256MB). The price is now £1149+VAT

Product News

The latest iMacs and MacBook Pros now have Intel processors.

This means that software not compiled for Intel processors will now work via emulation (and will do so until new fully compatible versions become available). For most users there will be no noticeable difference.

Even so, we have produced a software compatibility report in PDF format, so you can check that the products you buy will work on the new machines. This is a collation of our own research findings and information from vendors and publishers. However, were only able to test basic operations, and this is what the report summarises.

Rosetta is a background PowerPC emulator allowing you to run PowerPC-compiled programs on Intel Macs. Universal Binary-labelled software will run natively on both PowerPcs and Intel Macs. As long as one of these is marked YES against the software in the report you should be able to run it on the new Intel Macs.
