How do I order?
With a purchase as complex and expensive as a computer system, we can't just take your order over the phone. Please post or fax us your list of chosen equipment - don't forget to include your name, address and a contact phone number so we can arrange delivery.
If you have received a personalised quote from us, simply return a copy of the quote (mark any changes clearly on the copy). Don't forget to include your name, address and a contact phone number so we can arrange delivery.
How do I pay?
We can accept cheques and banker's drafts for computer purchases. We cannot normally accept credit card payments for large purchases (however some companies like Barclaycard will issue cheque books for use with your credit card account).
Note that we do not need payment with your order, but we do need to receive the money before we are able to send out the computer.
How do I claim VAT exemption?
If you want to check the rules relating to VAT exemption, you can read our article on VAT (Valued Added Tax), Dyslexia, Disability and VAT exemption.
If you are receiving your computer through a Disabled Student's Allowance or Access To Work scheme, then we just need a photocopy of the letter or other paperwork confirming you are receiving one of these disability grants.
If you are paying for the equipment yourself, we will need a signed copy of our VAT exemption form for our records.
How long will it take?
Our computers are built to order, and we then install all the software you ordered, configure it for ease of use and check that all the hardware is working. The whole process, from receiving your order to shipping the computer, takes about 10 working days.
To reduce delays, please send your order as soon as you can - we can start processing your order without payment, but we do need to receive the money before we are able to send out the computer.
What if I'm not in when you deliver it?
Don't worry - we never ship a computer and just hope you're in! As soon as your computer is ready, we will phone you to arrange a delivery date. Please note that courier companies will rarely be able to specify a delivery time beyond 'morning or afternoon', as it depends on what other deliveries they end up making in your area that day.
